Dr. Jessica Reiniger hails from Berks Country and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now Salus University, with honors in 1995. She enjoys discovering the uniqueness of each patient in order to provide services and materials customized to their needs. Making patients feel comfortable is her priority. Dr. Reiniger’s special interests include pediatrics and medical eye care. When not seeing patients, she loves spending time with her husband, daughter and Shih Tau, Stella, at the Jersey shore.
Dr. Ruskiewicz is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a board-certified optometrist. He divides his time between his office in Pottstown and teaching responsibilities as an Associate Clinical Professor at the Eye Institute of Salus University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Ruskiewicz received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry and pursued advanced training at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, earning a Masters in Public Health Degree. In addition to Pennsylvania, Dr. Ruskiewicz is also licensed in Wisconsin and Illinois.
Dr. George E. White is a board-certified optometrist. He graduated from Siena College, Loudonville, NY with a BS in biology. He completed his Doctoral program with clinical distinction at Salus Unversity Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Clinical residency and fellowship training was completed at the Eye Institue, Salus University, Philadelphia, Pa.
Dr. White is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. He has also served as the president of the Bucks Montgomery COunty Optometric Assosciation. He enjoys fishing, reading, and martial arts. He lives in Montgomery County with his wife. They have 4 married children and 9 grandchildren.
Dr. Cassie VanEtten grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Shippensburg University in 2013. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018 from Salus University located in Elkins Park, PA. Dr. VanEtten completed multiple internships around the Philadelphia area, including a rotation with the Allentown VA Outpatient Clinic where she focused on the diagnosis and management of ocular disease.
During her other internships, she had specialty training in ocular disease, diabetic eye care, contact lenses, surgical co-management, and geriatric eye care. Dr. VanEtten is a member of the American Optometric Association and currently resides in Philadelphia.
A 2021 Castle Connolly Top Doctor, Dr. Cohn specializes in the treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. A board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist, he was selected as a Top Doc by Main Line Today.
Dr. Cohn graduated from the Thomas Jefferson University Medical School, completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the Beaumont Eye Institute in Michigan, and completed his Glaucoma Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has been practicing comprehensive ophthalmology with a specialty in surgical glaucoma since 2010.
Dr. Cohn has published articles in peer reviewed journals, and presented his retrospective reviews and research at the Association for Research in Vision and at the American Glaucoma Society.
He was a UIC resident lecturer during his fellowship, and continues to lecture nationally on the role of preventive medicine and how to focus on diagnostic evaluation and therapy while providing treatment in a comfortable environment.
Dr. Cohn specializes in Cataract Surgery and Glaucoma Treatment.
Dr. Cohn is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Delaware Medical Society.
Dr. James C. Johnson attended Westminster College on a full Academic Presidential Scholarship to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Johnson then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia.
During his time at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Dr. Johnson received Clinical Honors at each of his externship rotations including JFK Memorial Hospital Eye Clinic in Northeast Philadelphia, the Contact Lens Clinic at Salus University, and a large Optometry Practice outside of Pittsburgh. Dr. Johnson excelled academically, earning recognition for his expertise in areas such as comprehensive eye care, specialty contact lens fitting, and ocular disease management.
Dr. Johnson is committed to staying at the forefront of comprehensive eye care through continuing education and professional development. He regularly attends conferences, hands on workshops, and seminars to stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry and eye care technology. This dedication ensures that his patients receive the most current and effective treatments available ranging from advancements in Dry Eye Disease and in the Management of Glaucoma.
