Medical insurance may apply when your visit is related to an eye-health problem, medical condition, urgent concern, or medically necessary testing or treatment.
New Path Vision
Vision benefits commonly apply to routine eye exams, glasses, frames, lenses, and contact-lens benefits. They are separate from medical insurance even when both benefits are associated with the same health plan.
The Dry Eye Center
Participation with an insurance company does not mean every dry-eye service is covered. Some testing, procedures, products, or in-office treatments may be non-covered or elective depending on the individual plan.

Some evaluations, testing, procedures, products, or in-office dry-eye treatments may not be covered by every plan. The practice can review expected patient responsibility before elective or non-covered treatment is started.
