This page explains how the public website handles website-related information. It is separate from New Path Vision’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which addresses protected health information and patient privacy rights.

Information you choose to send through a general website feature may be used to respond to your request, route your inquiry to the appropriate team member, operate the website, and maintain security.
For patient-specific clinical questions, records, prescriptions, or other private care matters, use the patient portal or contact the office directly rather than a general website message.
This website privacy page is not New Path Vision’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. The HIPAA notice explains how protected health information may be used and disclosed, describes patient privacy rights, identifies the practice Privacy Officer, and explains how to raise a privacy concern.

Appointment scheduling, the patient portal, and contact-lens ordering are provided through external services. Information entered on those services is subject to the privacy and security practices presented by the applicable provider.
The website may use technology necessary for operation, security, preferences, performance, or measurement. If analytics, advertising, or marketing tools are used, this page and any required visitor controls will be updated as appropriate.
New Path Vision does not intend to sell information submitted through the public website. Information may be handled by service providers that support website or communications functions, or disclosed when required by law. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
External websites have their own privacy, security, and accessibility practices. Review those policies before submitting information to a third party.
